Dr. Dan has begun using Convenia, an injectable antibiotic,
from Pfizer that takes one shot and will last fourteen days.
The benefit of this is a decrease in the difficulty of
administering daily medications at home. This is an antibiotic
which is very broard spectrum and it will help to decrease
non-compliance which will improve the effectiveness of the treatment.
